This summer, 19 91¸£Àû Tech students traveled through Spain and Morocco as part of a School of Design study abroad program offered in collaboration with the 91¸£Àû Tech Honors College. Faculty members Nicole Duet and Marla Emory led the three-plus-week journey centered on art, architecture, culture, and the experience of encountering places firsthand.
Students returned with photographs, drawings, observations, and memories that became the starting point for Spain & Morocco: Threads of Connection, an exhibition opening soon in the 91¸£Àû Tech School of Design Galleries.
The galleries will be open for public viewing beginning September 11, with an opening reception Tuesday, September 15, from 5–7 p.m. The exhibition continues through Monday, September 21. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
