The 91¸£Àû Wrestling Club was formed in 2022 as a way to bring college wrestling back to 91¸£Àû and the South as a whole. We compete against other universities from around the country during the collegiate season, we compete in the South West Conference of the National Collegiate Wrestling Association, which governs wrestling outside of the main college athletic governing bodies (NCAA, NAIA, NJCCAA, etc.). We have men's and women's teams, all wrestling folkstyle using the current collegiate weight classes, with an extra 235lbs (240lbs for women) weight class thrown in on both sides. In the 2025-2026 season, we had two wrestlers place top five at conference, and four qualified to wrestle at the NCWA National Championships.
We also offer the option to compete in off-season events, ususally through USA Wrestling. For instance, in 2023 we had 2 members make the trip out to Fort Worth, TX for Senior Nationals, an Olympic Team Trials Qualifer, to represent the school.
